To mógł być równie dobrze celowy zabieg ze strony Steve'a, coś a la tribute albo coś. Gdzieś chyba czytałem że często podawał Beckett'a za swoją inspirację i inne takie, a członkowie tego zespołu nie raz przychodzili na koncerty Maiden już nawet po wydaniu Nomada. Więc raczej musieli się dogadać

Oglądałem kiedyś dokument o Elvisie. Wypowiadał się Carl Perkins odnośnie utworu Blue Suede shoes. Utwór jest w całości Carla, natomiast dziękował Presleyowi za wykorzystanie jego utworu i rozsławienie go na cały świat. Może gdyby nie IM niewiele ludzi usłyszało by Nomada Beckatt`a? Prawdy raczej nigdy się nie dowiemy.

No ale wystarczyło w książeczce coś o tym wspomnieć, a nie udawać, że to ich kompozycja a dogadać to się dogadali, bo to ich jacyś tam znajomi są.

Ciekawe zestawienia, chociaż ciężko porównać wiele kawałków ze sobą (np. Empire of the Clouds i Rainmaker?), prędzej bym zrobił takie zestawienia typami utworów: epiki, rockery, ballady, średniodługie, utwory Dave'a itp.

Jak widać, ilu ludzi tyle gustów.

Przesłuchałem wczoraj album w całości po dłuższej przerwie i niestety Red and the Black i When the River Runs Deep by spadły w tym moim rankingu, kolejno TRATB jakoś na 25 miejsce a WTRRD w okolice trzydziestego. Red and the Black mimo świetnych momentów męczy dłużyznami, a When the River Runs Deep to raczej tylko niezły rocker.

Tytułowy też jedną pozycję niżej, jednak nie tak doskonała kompozycja jak Brave New World.
