Nowy krążek Power Up rzekomo ma ukazać się 7 grudnia, za singiel ma robić numer o tytule Shot In The Dark. Mało mnie to interesuje, ale kogoś pewnie taki news ucieszy.

Przy całej sympatii do skrzeczącego Rudego podpisuję się pod tym. Super, że Brian... aczkolwiek tamta trasa z Axlem na wokalu to była ciekawostka muzyczna, a Rudy dał radę.

No przecież! Nie słyszysz jak oni grają? Nie czujesz tego zadziornego riffu? Tego bluesowego luzu?
W sumie bardzo smutne jest to, że kiedyś ten zespół faktycznie zgrał zadziornie i luźno. I to było cholernie autentyczne. Niestety te ostatnie piosenki brzmią jak parodia AC/DC. Aczkolwiek Black Ice to najlepsze AC/DC od For Those About To Rock.
Z dobrych rzeczy to Brian brzmi naprawdę nieźle. Całość wjedzie pewnie jutro.

To od dawna jest już raczej niewyrazisty dad rock. AC/DC z zespołu dla bad boyów zrobiło się kapelą, która kojarzy się z kiełbasą z grilla i żartami o hehe ruchańsku.

Inna rzecz, że w tym momencie wymaganie od nich żeby grali luźno, dziarsko i do przodu to chyba przesada. Jeśli nagrają słuchalny krążek to będę kontent. Ma tylko nadzieję na jakieś szybsze numery i może coś faktycznie bez tej napinki.

Ja nie oczekuję drugiego Highway To Hell, po prostu kawałki pokroju Play Ball są dla mnie obrzydliwe, a ten udostępniony fragment też nie zwiastuje niczego dobrego

COST: Thought to be around $1,000,000, plus a subsequent 40 years of carrying cannons around every-bloody-where…
“Fannying around” was how AC/DC’s Malcolm Young described much of the recording process of For Those About To Rock, while his brother Angus said he was “bored shitless”. Producer Mutt Lange spent the first 10 days of the session trying to perfect the sound of the snare drum in multiple Parisian studios before declaring it an impossible task. By the time they had been recording the album for three months – during which the band turned down a million-dollar offer to tour with the Rolling Stones – Malcolm Young felt like nothing made sense anymore, later remarking, “I don’t think anyone, neither the band or the producer, could tell whether it sounded right or wrong. Everyone was fed up with the whole album.”
WHERE DID THE MONEY GO? Multiple studios (including a portable one that Mutt Lange had transported from London to Paris), multiple engineers, and a cannon or two.
