Mimo wszystko zdziwiłem się, że w tym roczniku było tak mało tytułów. Sądziłem, że trochę więcej różnych rzeczy wpadnie. Tymczasem większość głosowała na podobne płyty... Ale chyba im dalej będziemy się przesuwali w głąb lat 80tych, to myślę, że to sie mocno zmieni.

Widac że wraz z 1980 rokiem zacznie sie dominacja Iron Maiden nad resztą Ale takowa sytuacja chyba nikogo na forum tego zespołu dziwić nie powinna

To bardzo specyficzny rok. Masz w hard rocku i metalu wspaniałe tytuły, ale i jednoznacznie wyróżniające się na tle reszty. Jak robiłem sobie poprzednie Top10 kilka lat temu, to w bieżącym roku wprowadziłem minimalne zmiany. W wielu rocznikach 70-tych miałem po 5 "nowości", tu niemal nic

Sprawdziłem teraz dokładniej, faktycznie są. Nie wiem dlaczego ich odrazu nie wychwyciłem.

Wynik Power Supply i No Place to Run to parafrazując klasyka jakieś kompletne nieporozumienie. Fajnie, że docenione świetne Chinatown. Cała reszta to oczywiste strzały w postaci płyt Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Motorhead czy AC/DC. Rok obfitujący w albumy przełomowe dla gatunku.
