TRIVIUM: 'The Crusade' Details Revealed

On October 10, TRIVIUM will release its third album, "The Crusade". The follow-up to 2005's "Ascendancy" was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, just outside of Orlando. Once again produced by TRIVIUM and Jason Suecof, the CD is "a dazzling explosion of tight, intricate and instantly memorable songs that feature awe-inspiring musicianship from all four members of the band," according to a press release.

Says lead singer Matt Heafy, "As a band, you can either release the same album again, keeping the same number of people interested and not really branch out, or you can evolve. I feel that 'The Crusade' is the next logical step in our evolution. We took one big step between the first two albums, but this time we've taken about ten huge leaps forward."

For the first time, other members of the group contributed songs to the album. Guitarist Corey Beaulieu wrote the music to "Unrepentant" and "Tread The Floods", while bassist Paolo Gregoletto wrote the music to "The Rising" and "To The Rats" and co-wrote "Anthem (We are the Fire)" with Heafy.

"The Crusade" will contain 13 songs, including "Detonation", which is available for download at this location, "And Sadness Will Sear", the initial focus track "Entrance of the Conflagration", and the nine-minute instrumental epic "The Crusade".

To date "Ascendancy" has sold 140,000 units in the Unites States and continues to sell over 1,600 a week.

Miałem te dwie płyty które wydali. Zapuściłem.... i jak usłyszałem wokal to wyłączyłem. Nie trafia do mnie taki wokal.

jak dla mnie świetny słyszałem 2 płyty.... naprawde szykuje się legenda.. kurcze ale master of puppets nie słyszałem.... moze ktos wystawic na rapidshare??

BTW Trivium ma amibtne plany koncertowe: w 2007 roku oprócz własnych koncertów w Europie i w Stanach, występów na australijskim Big Day Out i wielkiej trasy po UK myślą nawet o wspólnej trasie z bardzo znanym zespołem na literę M...
Wg. mnie za kilka lat sprawdzi się to co mówił Bruce Dickinson: Trivium będzie gwiazdą światowego formatu i zagra jako headliner w Donington. :rocx

Jaką płytkę posłuchać jako pierwszą?

Trivium... hmmm...

Może są dobrym zespolem ale na pewno nie takim jak Meta. Vocal po prostu żalosny.

Cygan - posluchaj "The Crusade" jak wyjdzie w pazdzierniku. Zupelnie zmienili styl spiewania.

A na zywo jeszcze lepszy! Niezly circle pit sie stworzyl! Moze nie powinienem tego pisac, ale IMHO Trivium wykonuje obecnie Master'a lepiej niz Metallica (live). :rocx :solo

No mnie ta wersja studyjna wgniotła w fotel. Z tak potężnym brzmieniem Master wypada jeszcze lepiej, wokal też świetny. Zaraz się biorę za jakąś płytę Trivium

Mowie - polecam Ascendancy (druga plyta - pierwsza, Ember To Inferno, jest dobra, ale nienajlepiej wyprodukowana). Oraz Detonation (kawalek z nowej plyty The Crusade - premiera w pazdzierniku - link powyzej). Do tego koniecznie jakis bootleg czy video z ich koncertu (np. oficjalny zapis 6 kawalkow z londynskiej Astorii lub cos z youtube.com) - bo wlasnie na zywo chlopaki brzmia najlepiej.

Wicker, specjalnie dla ciebie przesłuchałem jeden utwór. Pomyślałem że może się mylę. Więc puscilem kawalek "Dying In Your Arms", podobno jeden z najlepszych, i uważam że nie mylilem sie ani trochę , dla mnie po prostu ten zepół to nic wielkiego, no a poruwnywanie że grają lepiej niż Meta to dla mnie jakiś absurt.

Tak na marginesie, ja mowie tylko moje zdanie, i nie każdemu się może ono podobać
