Przecież solówki Live też gra H, nie wiem jak to było ostatnio w 2011, bo już nie pamiętam.Dla mnie ta wersja studyjna jest trochę za wolno zagrana.Coś mi tam nie pasuje.Zresztą wracajac masz przeciez koncerty bez Gersa, swietnie zagrane na Hammersmith

Wersja studyjna ma jednak taką magię, zwłaszcza chodzi mi o to co się dzieje po czwartej minucie. Warto też wsłuchać się w bębny Clive'a Burra, coś wspaniałego. Na żywo Hallowed be thy Name robi się takim typowym utworem Iron Maiden, jeszcze te krzyki Brusa, wszystko skoncentrowane na zrobienie show. Nie powiem, to jest świetne ale jakoś ulatuje unikatowy klimat tego utworu, jego powaga. Tak więc, wersje koncertowe świetne, ale jedyna w swoim rodzaju jest wersja studyjna.

Wróciłem do wątku z pewnym pomysłem. Otóż sądzę, że "mecze" między płytami powinny wyglądać inaczej - podobnie do... meczów drużynowych w szachach. Na czym to polega? Otóż nie zestawiamy następujących po sobie utworów, lecz wybieramy je wg jakości. Czyli najlepszy z płyty "A" rywalizuje z najlepszym z płyty "B", potem drugie wg jakości, itd. To wymaga wysiłku, bo każdy musi sam ustalić poszczególne "szachownice", ale to przecież dodatkowy smaczek, bo u każdego taki "mecz" może wyglądać inaczej.

Moja propozycja starcia "The Number..." z "Powerslave" wygląda następująco"

Trzy wspaniałe płyty. Szkoda, że z tego stylu nie dało się wycisnąć, jeszcze jednego takiego albumu. Choćby w 1990 czy w 2000 roku. Brakuje mi bardzo właśnie takiego Iron Maiden. Pod wieloma względami jest mi najbliższe.

Dobre i równe. Dla mnie Powerslave odstaje. Ten środek mi średnio pasuje. Nie żeby był zły, ale te numery specjalnie mnie nie kręcą. Może to kwestia bardzo mocnego startu i końca, przez co mam takie wrażenie, że w środku płyty czegoś brakuje. Na pozostałych dwóch te najlepsze numery są dla mnie bardziej równomiernie rozłożone i poziom płyty jest przez to równiejszy.

Jest to piękna trylogia typowego heavy metalu. Po tej trylogii Panowie (wg nich samych) wyczerpali formułę i zaczęli szukać czegoś nowego. Okazało się to strzałem w 10. Mamy dzięki temu zróżnicowane lata 80te zespołu pod kątem muzycznym na bardzo, bardzo wysokim poziomie.

Kierując się sercem - Piece of Mind>Powerslave>Number

Kierują się rozumem (pod kątem dalszej kariery zespołu i sukcesu komercyjnego) - Number (sukces światowy) >Powerslave (sukces światowy, przypieczętowanie pozycji w USA) >Piece of Mind (świetne single)
