Polacy maja jednak niska samoocene, ciagle im trzeba mowic jacy to genialni sa

Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach
Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach
Jaki wywiad?

Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach

Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach

Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach
jak komuś się nie chce szukać - za www.ironmaiden.com :
The next day we flew to Katowice, Poland around midday. A police escort awaited us and was with us throughout driving between gig and hotel and airport. Certainly helps to get through any traffic. We played Poland in the mid eighties extensively having taken over there for the first time by anyone a full Western tour production with the great Powerslave production and tour in 84 so its always been a special place for us and the support of the fans there has always been amazing. There were about 25,000 of them at the Mystic Festival at the Chorzow Slaski stadium. Mostly everything went well and all the details of the production, drapes, pyro etc worked out well. The only problem was with the sound, although that’s some problem. It was a very hot day and the front of stage security were spraying the front rows with water to keep them cool but stupidly they allowed water to get sprayed on the PA amps at the front of the stage and by the time we went on it had penetrated the amps and led to general distortion in the sound. Our sound engineer, Dougie, who is normally quite mild mannered, was going apeshit but there was nothing that could be done about it. The underlying distortion affected the impact and volume which was a real drag as the fans deserved better although it didn’t seem to affect their enjoyment of the show and perhaps they didn’t notice. But we did. Otherwise it was a good show and the band played really well.
After the show we went back to the hotel bar on the top floor of the hotel with all glass walls and a fantastic view over the city. The guys from Dragonforce joined us for a beer or three and Bruce and myself had a good and at times hilarious chat with them - most of it censored. They supported us - and went down great - in Poland and will also be in Austria, Lisbon, Spain and some other places so check them out

Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach
To była wypowiedź Roda. Nicko pisał o 27.000: (a tak naprawdę to łącznie było z 28-30.000
)
(7:30pm 30th May)
I did however write a wee bit of the diary on the plane from Katowice in Poland.
We played there last night and man was it fantastic. A brilliant evening was had and delivered.
We had made a change to the running order of the set but it still needs a wee tune up so to speak.
We hit the stage at 9:30 and had a great night. We played a lot tighter than the night before and were very happy with the way we all played.
The crowd were absolutely nuts. At one time towards the end of the evening they were chanting out something SSSOOO load, for so long that it sent a goose bump up me back.
We later found out that it meant THANK YOU!!!!!!
What a buzz I can tell you!!!!
27000 Polish fans singing with us and chanting things, it was truly a momentous evening.
After the show we went back to the hotel and met in the bar for a wee nightcap.
Dragonforce joined us; they had opened the show for us.
Nice bunch of chaps they are as well!!!
After a couple of glasses of Ducru I went to me bed.
Thank you to all of our friends in Poland for making us so welcome as usual. You are very special to Maiden.
THANK YOU ALL so much.
Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach
no to cool
wiec chyba trafilem
Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach
WROCŁAW: "The next day we flew over to Poland. The show was in Wroclav.
We arrived at the venue and hung around for the few hours before the show. I had a spot of dinner in catering and then went to watch the local support bands.
Just before show time we were presented with a gold disc from our pals from EMI Poland.
A BIG THANK YOU, to all of our Polish fans for making that possible. God bless you!!!
So on to the gig. It was a great show. The fans went wild when we hit the stage. The sound in the room was very echoey but we still managed to stay on top of it. We do have a sound engineer, [despite the spuds growing out of his lugs] who can get us a ‘Kin great sound anywhere. His name is Doug 'Spuds' Hall. You rule Bones!!!!!
So after the show we headed straight of to the airport and flew back to blighty. I was in me pit for 2am. The next two days were off. "
KATOWICE 2003: "On the Tuesday we played in Poland. The gig was in Katowice at the Spodek. We have played there before. It was a most stunning gig. We played a blinder. The audience were fantasticand we all agreed that it was the best gig from a performance point of view so far[/b].
We all met at Stansted for a 1-30pm departure. I had left my family back in London. They were going over to the Gatwick Meridian to spend their night there and then on Wednesday pop on a Virgin plane back over the pond. It’s always so very hard to say goodbye. I will not be seeing them until the 13th of July. That is one of the hardest things to deal with when you go on the road.
So we’re all aboard and flight time was a couple of hours. When we arrived we popped to the hotel, which was just over the road from the gig. It used to be called the Orbis but the Novotel Hotel chain have bought into them so it had had a face lift recently. We first stayed in this hotel in 1985 when the country was racked in the grips of dreaded communism and what not. It is so nice to see the people happy and with more smiles on their faces.
So we hit the stage at 9-30pm and as I said rocked the gaff to the floor. The fans were as brilliant as they always are in Poland. We were all very happy with the bight. After the show we all hung back stage and did the usual shower thing and H, Davey and myself took in a nice drop of red wine that we are carrying on tour with us. My friend Mark Gutterres from Trans Am Trucking supplied the menu of wines for me. He’s a top man. So after a while we headed back to the hotel. After dropping our stuff off we all met in the hotel bar for a nightcap. It was a great evening. We have fond memories of this place and it wasn’t long before the old war stories started to make an appearance. All in all we had a great visit to Poland. Thank you to all our fans that came that evening. "

Re: Wypowiedzi Zespołu o Polsce i Polakach
Polecam przeczytać artykuł "Scream for me, Poland!".
Nicko (1986):
Bruce (2003):
Jesteście wspaniali! Na pewno do was powrócimy.
